2008 marks Ford Truck’s sixth consecutive year as the Official Truck of the American Quarter Horse Association. As part of this national sponsorship, Ford Trucks is involved in the following:

The American Quarter Horse Association was founded in 1940 by a group of enthusiasts to ensure that the unique qualities of this breed do not perish. AQHA has since become the largest equine breed registry in the world and has an extremely loyal consumer base. It has registered more than 4.4 million American Quarter Horses and serves more than 350,000 worldwide members.

AQHA functions as the official record-keeping and governing body of the American Quarter Horse industry. AQHA records ownership, processes show and race results, catalogs performance and produce data on all American Quarter Horses, maintains association funds and publicizes the American Quarter Horse industry.
